Our story

We started with one blank wall

Acroshel began with a simple frustration — every wall in the house was either empty or full of pinholes. We wanted something that could hold the bits and pieces of a life in progress without wrecking the paint behind it.

So we made a magnetic board. Then a bookshelf that stood up instead of stretching out. Everything we make is powder-coated steel, finished in colours chosen to sit quietly next to whatever you already own.

We're a small team in India making a small number of things properly, rather than a large number of things quickly.

How it's made

Our process

Raw steel

Every board begins as a quiet sheet of raw steel, waiting for purpose — born in the heat and rhythm of a workshop where Indian craftsmanship meets modern design.

The cut & fold

Laser-guided cuts make every line true. Then the edges are folded and pressed by hand into a seamless, floating border — rigid metal tamed into something safe to the touch.

Fire, then patience

A spark of welding fuses the corners into one unbreakable piece. Skilled hands grind and polish the joints until the seam disappears under a bare fingertip.

A skin of colour

Suspended and powder-coated, then baked until a matte finish fuses into the steel — a durable skin that guards against rust and preserves the magnetic pull beneath.
